NORTH BERWICK GLEN EAST GOLF COURSE
Quality Low Medium High

North Berwick Glen Golf Club, established in 1906, has developed into a testing course with some beautiful holes laid out in a combination of inland turf and traditional links setting.

Every hole offers the golfer a different perspective of the Firth of Forth, with views dominated by the Bass Rock, one of the world's largest bird sanctuaries.

The course signature hole, the 13th (Sea Hole), nestles amongst the rocks and the beach in the shadow of the famous Bass Rock bird sanctuary. The par three is included in Golf World's "Dream 18 holes" and graces the cover of the popular book "The Most Extraordinary Golf Holes in Britain."

A memorable round reaches a stunning climax with a drive from an elevated 18th (Jacob's Ladder) tee offering spectacular views of North Berwick, the Firth of Forth and its famous islands which include Fidra, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stephenson's "Treasure Island".

It is no surprise that most of the 11,000 visitors playing the course every year are making a return trip to the Glen.
